Celebrating the Fire and Movement Arts

For the first time in Philippine history, flow artists came together from around the country to celebrate, learn and share the love for their beloved art forms. International flow artists Thomas Johansson (SWEDEN), Iain Culp (USA), Yana La Fae (GER) and Aifique (MALAYSIA) – were also flown in to share their knowledge and passion – which were welcomed by beckoning bodies, big smiles and happy hugs 🙂

There were stations where hoop, poi, contact juggling and levistick workshops happened all throughout day, PKPH [Parkour Philippines] held an exhibition and workshop, all of which culminated in a sunset spin jam and drum circle w/ Katribu Kolektib. Much fun was had, which extended to the Gala night fire/flow art performances later in the evening with other guest artists, Pole Academy Philippines, Jonan Aguilar and Anak Band, Brigada, Pangalay Artists Circle, My Masterpiece Movement (MMM), Philippine Human Beatbox Alliance (PHBA)-Official, Kimkong belly dancer, CJ Wasu (Indian Tabla artist) & Joey Valenciano (Sitar), Flippin SOUL Stompers, Christina ‘DJ BADKISS’ Bartges, Robby ‘DJ DANGER’ and Rick Sanchez!

A memorable and momentous experience for all participants and a proud moment for the whole Flow Arts Philippines community.
